Job summary

Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen the secure software delivery pipeline. You will own automation, security scanning, and quality gates to ensure every release is stable, secure, and production-ready.

You will act as an independent quality and security authority, collaborating with developers, infrastructure teams, and application architects. The role emphasizes building secure CI/CD pipelines and integrating AI-assisted security review and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 3+ years in DevOps, security assessment, automated testing or software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and security assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Implement and manage automated security scanning within the deployment pipeline (SAST/DAST).
• Develop comprehensive automated testing suites (integration, end-to-end, load).
• Serve as an independent auditor for code and block merges failing security/quality checks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application architects to enforce the deployment model.

In this role, you will own the automation, security scanning, and quality gates that ensure every release is stable, secure, and production-ready. You will act as an independent quality and security authority, working closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and application architects.

Job Duties

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline secure and reliable software delivery.
• Implement and manage automated security scanning toolswithin the deployment pipeline, including AI code review, SAST, DAST, and dependency checkers.
• Develop comprehensive automated testing suites, covering integration, end-to-end, and load testing.
• Serve as an independent auditor for code produced by other developers and AI assistants - with the authority toblock merges that fail security or quality checks.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application architectsto enforce and uphold the deployment model.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 3+ years in DevOps, security assessment, automated testing, or software quality assurance.
• Technical skills:
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, security assessment tools, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and AI-assisted testing development.
• Mindset: Strong analytical skills with an uncompromising commitment to system stability and security.
