Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to design, develop, test, and deploy software systems and applications.

You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile (React Native) and automate mobile workflows, including code signing and app store submissions. You will drive DevOps practices, ensure security and scalability, and monitor performance while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a DevOps engineering role with team leadership experience.
• Strong background in cloud computing, DevOps practices, and software development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to design, develop, test, and deploy software systems and applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile (React Native) using modern tools.
• Automate mobile workflows including code signing, provisioning, and app store submissions.
• Develop and implement DevOps processes, practices, and tools to improve delivery speed, quality and reliability.

• Monitor system performance, identify improvements and implement optimizations.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to design, develop, test, and deploy software systems and applications.

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile (react native) using modern tools.

Automate mobile-specific workflows, including code signing, provisioning, and app store submissions (e.g., via AppCenter,).

Develop and implement DevOps processes, practices, and tools to improve the speed, quality, and reliability of software deliverables.

Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of software systems and applications by implementing best practices and standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver software systems and applications that meet business needs.

Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies and recommend improvements to software systems and applications.

Knowledgeable in DevOps and Authorization, like OAuth implementation.

Familiar with MySQL, including SQL writing, database knowledge like table structure, keys, index.

Familiar with Cloud development; AWS/ Azure / GCP is preferable

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role, with experience in leading teams.
• Strong background in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
• Solid hands on experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes, GitOps, Helm, AWS, Azure, Bash, Python
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code toolsh as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
