Job summary

Lalamove is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Hong Kong. You will work with cross-functional teams to dive deep into data and uncover actionable insights that empower Product, Marketing, and Operations to make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in BI or data analytics, strong SQL skills, knowledge of data warehousing, and familiarity with Python or R. Proficiency with Tableau or similar BI tools and excellent English are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts; Python or R is a plus.
• Experience using Tableau or other BI tools for reporting and analyses.
• Good command of English (both written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into analytics goals, hypotheses, and success metrics.
• Develop analytical frameworks (e.g., funnel analysis, segmentation, experimentation) to solve problems and identify drivers of performance.
• Produce outputs highlighting trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for informed decisions.
• Synthesize findings into concise recommendations and communicate implications, risks, and trade-offs to audiences.
