Data Engineer - Financial Services/ AI Projects - up to 50K

Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Data Platform Engineer in Hong Kong to build and enhance data platforms, run PoCs, and integrate services with APIs in a CD-enabled environment. You will collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and product owners to deliver scalable data solutions and contribute to AI pipeline deployment with data engineers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data platform development, strong IaC and DevOps experience, and familiarity with cloud ecosystems

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data platform development.
• Experience in delivery of large scale data infrastructure (hundreds of TB) is highly desired.
• Experience in system design and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a must.
• Experience in designing, implementing and managing DevOps pipelines in a large scale enterprise environment is preferred.
• Experience in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AliCloud) and having any relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience of implementing data security capabilities such as encryption, anonymization is a plus.
• Programming: Java, Nodejs, Python.
• Scripting: Bash script or PowerShell.
• CICD Suite: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git, Ansible.
• Experience in working in an international team, with grounding in financial services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and data driven thinking capabilities.
