Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a data engineer to plan, implement and maintain the company’s data platform and solutions. You will design, build and automate modern data pipelines and data streams, and develop data models and schemas for seamless integration and analysis.

The role requires at least 3 years of solid data engineering experience, strong SQL skills, and hands-on work with cloud data tools such as Azure Databricks or Synapse.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of solid data engineering experience
• SQL proficiency is essential
• Cloud data apps on Azure like Databricks/Synapse preferred
• Strong problem solving and data-driven thinking

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain the company’s data platform and solutions.
• Design, build and automate modern data pipelines and data streams.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas for data integration and analysis.
• Optimize ETL/ELT processes and troubleshoot issues to improve data workflows.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specs.
