Adecco in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Incident Responder to investigate and contain incidents, perform threat hunting and forensics, and improve security monitoring across IT and OT environments.

Role requires 3+ years in cybersecurity, hands-on with SIEM/EDR/SOAR, and strong communication skills to report findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience including incident response, cyber investigations, threat hunting, malware analysis, and digital forensics.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, DLP, and cloud security platforms.
• Solid understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset with ability to respond to complex threats.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting findings to diverse audiences.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or regulated environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of OT/ICS/SCADA would be a plus.
• Good command of English; Mandarin is an advantage.

• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely containment, recovery, and remediation.
• Conduct threat hunting, malware analysis, digital forensics, and root cause investigations.
• Monitor security events and alerts using enterprise security platforms and tools.
• Analyze security vulnerabilities, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and emerging cyber threats.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate incident response activities.
• Support the enhancement of security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Prepare incident reports, investigation findings, and management updates.
• Participate in cyber security exercises, tabletop simulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the protection of both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, ECIH, C|HFI, or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience, including hands‑on exposure to incident response, cyber investigations, threat hunting, malware analysis, and digital forensics.
• Practical experience with cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, DLP, and cloud security platforms.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and respond to complex cyber threats and security incidents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience preparing investigation reports and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or other highly regulated environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or SCADA environments would be a plus.
• Good command of spoken and written English; Mandarin is an advantage.
