Job summary

BAH Partners Limited is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for its Hong Kong technology team. The role offers high ownership across cybersecurity operations, threat defence, security engineering and platform design, acting as the key cybersecurity representative in Hong Kong and coordinating with global teams to strengthen security infrastructure.

Candidates should bring 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or related fields, strong Python skills, and a hands-on engineering mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations or related disciplines.
• Broad technical exposure across security operations, infrastructure security and security platform implementation.
• Practical Python programming skills with the ability to write, troubleshoot and develop code independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on engineering mindset.
• Financial services experience is not required; candidates from technology companies, consulting firms and other industries are welcome.
• Mandarin proficiency is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cybersecurity operations, monitoring, incident response and first-line defence.
• Design, implement and enhance cybersecurity platforms, tools and controls.
• Develop Python scripts and automation to improve security operations and efficiency.
• Partner with infrastructure, engineering and global security teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and drive improvements across the firm's security environment.
