Job summary

Aurora Information Solutions Limited is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to plan, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise network and information security systems in Hong Kong. You will monitor events, analyze threats, and conduct vulnerability assessments while enforcing policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Security, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in cybersecurity, system administration, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, and other networking technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud security technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, security monitoring tools, and penetration testing tools is preferred.
• Professional certifications are highly desirable (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise network and information security systems.
• Monitor security events and logs, analyze abnormal activities, and identify threats.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, security assessments, and risk analyses.
• Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus solutions, and other security devices.
• Develop and enforce information security policies and standards.
• Assist in cybersecurity incidents: investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Provide security configuration and support for servers, network devices, cloud, and endpoints.
• Perform regular security testing and system reviews to mitigate risks.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and risk assessments.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and recommend improvements.
