Job summary

uSMART Securities Limited in Hong Kong invites an intern in risk management. You will monitor futures client risk, oversee SBL margin calls, and perform stress tests. The role offers exposure to AI-driven automation and hands-on financial risk activities.

Ideal candidates are finance/economics majors or fresh graduates seeking a part-time internship with training and growth in risk control. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required; Office software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student majoring in Finance, Economics, Investment or related fields.
• Fresh graduates welcome; long-term intern appointment preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Proficient with Office software; Python and Excel VBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily risk levels of futures clients and notify margin calls.
• Monitor risk level of SBL and ensure margin calls are settled.
• Perform monthly and weekly stress tests for futures clients.
• Assist in using AI to automate daily processes.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor futures clients’ daily risk level and notify clients to settle margin call
• Monitor risk level of SBL (Stock borrowing and lending) business and ensure margin call is settled
• Perform monthly and weekly stress test for futures clients
• Assist in using AI to automate daily process
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate students majoring in Finance, Economics, Investment and other related majors; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
• Priority will be given to candidates with long-term intern appointment
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Proficient in basic computer skills, skilled in using Office software (Excel, PPT, Word); Preferred skills in Python and Excel VBA
