Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to dedicate to a prestigious financial services client in Hong Kong. The role is embedded within the client’s project team, focusing on cost management, procurement strategy, and contract administration.

You will drive tender activities from strategy through award, manage contracts, and deliver robust reporting to stakeholders. Based in Hong Kong, you’ll engage senior stakeholders with clear, data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or commercial management.
• Preferably experience in corporate office fit-out sector with strong MEP knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender processes, from strategy and documentation through evaluation and award.
• Manage and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Develop reporting and analysis for cost forecasts, variance analysis, and dashboards.
• Package, scope, and sequence construction works to align with milestones and budget.
• Prepare evidence-based recommendations to support client decision-making.
• Act as liaison between JLL and client stakeholders, communicating progress and risks.

About the Role

JLL is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor for a dedicated resource to a prestigious financial services client in Hong Kong. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong procurement leadership, construction contract management, and stakeholder communication skills. The successful candidate will act as the primary cost and commercial advisor embedded within the client’s project team, supporting a diverse portfolio of works across multiple packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as key members and driver of cost management team with a strong commercial focus- managing end-to-end tender processes, from strategy and documentation through evaluation and award.
• Manage and administer construction contracts , ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and value for money.
• Develop comprehensive reporting and analysis for internal and client stakeholders, including cost forecasts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
• Package, scope, and sequence a range of construction works to align with program milestones and budget constraints.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based and professional recommendation and advice to support client decision-making.
• Act as the key liaison between JLL team and the client’s internal stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and commercial insights effectively and professionally.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or commercial management, preferably within corporate office fit-out sector , strong MEP knowledge or capital projects.
• Proven track record in leading tenders , developing procurement strategies, and managing contractor relationships.
• Strong understanding of commercial best practices in HK fitting out industry.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills—with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders in a corporate environment.
• Role is based in client’s office in Hong Kong and available to start in Q4 2026.
• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost and Procurement Management, or a related field.

Duration & Structure

• Lead-in period : 1-2 months (starting in Q4 2026)
• Onboarding : 1 month (integrated into lead-in)
