Are you a highly organized, independent professional with a strong understanding of Hong Kong employment laws? Join Randstad Hong Kong as a Contracting Specialist! Working side by side with the Managing Director, you will act as a stand-alone operator performing all temporary payroll solution responsibilities.
You will serve as the dedicated main point of contact for all temporary payroll contractors, independently facilitating any inquiries from business partners and candidates regarding their salary payment, MPF, timesheets, employment contracts, duration of contracts, and onboarding or offboarding matters to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Operating independently, you will provide a one-stop-shop for all contracting needs, including:
Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle contract preparation, MPF applications, visa applications and extensions, leave record verification, and final payment calculations.
Payroll & Taxation: Work seamlessly with Finance to manage payroll for all contractors in HK (including timesheets, MPF, and insurance) and collaborate with HR on tax and documentation matters. You will also prepare and manage temporary payroll tax returns, including IR56 E/F/G forms and annual tax mailings.
System & Vendor Management: Single-handedly work closely to manage major client portals monitoring contractors' hourly pay, OT pay, and pay codes.
Stakeholder Support: Answer letters from the IRD, as well as assist with handling client and candidate inquiries regarding the HK employment ordinance and HR-related issues.
Documentation & Administration: Maintain the contracting desk's documents, including candidate/client FAQs and instructions to the MyRandstad portal, provide reference letters, and support background check inquiries.
Operational Excellence: Guarantee error‑free work with regards to processing and maintenance of the contracting administration.
University degree or higher education.
Solid administration experience with strong numeracy and IT abilities.
Strong acumen in HK employment ordinance.
Knowledge and/or experience of the sector or business line.
Self-driven with excellent planning and organizing skills, commercial drive, and a passion for results.
Ability to execute flawlessly and deliver excellent service orientation as an independent contributor.
