Job summary

St. James' Settlement in Hong Kong is seeking a Pharmacist who holds registration and a valid Annual Practising Certificate to join our community-focused team.

You will oversee daily operations, dispense medications, provide patient counselling and clinical services, and engage with the community to promote primary care. You will also mentor staff and participate in ad hoc projects as directed.

Fluency in Chinese and English is required, and prior community pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holder of Pharmacist Certificate of Registration
• Annual Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong
• Experience in community pharmacy is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and efficiency standards
• Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications according to legal and professional guidelines
• Patient Counselling and Clinical Services: Deliver and document medication counselling, minor ailment, medication management services, and other pharmacy services
• Community Engagement: Engage in community health promotion, education, and prevention programs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance primary care
• Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and train pharmacy staff and students to foster professional development
• Ad Hoc Duties: Execute additional projects and responsibilities as directed by supervisors
