Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited invites a Java EE developer for the ISFAST Phase 2C project under government work. The position is a full-time contract running from 01 Oct 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 with base in Tsuen Wan or other HK SAR locations as assigned by the Government.

The role requires requirement analysis, system design, programming, testing and ongoing maintenance of ISFAST modules for SFO/WFSFAA, including reimbursement, reporting and the course regulatory components.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Java EE application development experience (EJB/JSF/JPA).
• Hands-on with Java EE and Jasper Report.
• Strong SQL/PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Application Development.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting and UNIX familiarity.
• XML and JavaScript knowledge.
• JBoss Application Server experience.
• Government work experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT.
• ≥3 years post-qualification experience; ≥1 year in a similar post.

Responsibilities

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time to support WFSFAA-SFO.
• Analyze requirements, design, program, test and maintain ISFAST applications for SFO/WFSFAA.
• Develop Reimbursement function in ISFAST phase 2C.
• Develop reports in ISFAST phase 2C.
• Develop the Course Regulatory module.
• Fix transaction problems in the framework.
• Provide ongoing production maintenance support.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor or SA.

Project Nature (T26) Development and on-going maintenance of Integrated Student Financial Assistance System (ISFAST) for student financial assistance schemes of WFSFAA, SFO.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the WFSFAA-SFO;
• The staff is required to conduct requirement analysis, system design, programming, testing and on-going maintenance of software applications in SFO, WFSFAA including but not limited to the below:
• To develop Reimbursement function in ISFAST phase 2C and;
• To develop reports in ISFAST phase 2C;
• To develop the Course Regulatory module;
• To fix transaction problems of framework;
• To provide on-going maintenance support in production;
• To perform tasks as assigned by supervisor or SA;

Requirements

• At least 2 year's application development experience in Java EE Programming using EJB/JSF/JPA, and
• Experience / Working experience in these areas:
  • Java EE

• Technical Skills:
  • At least 2 years' experience in Enterprise Java Beans Development (EJB);
  • At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
  • At least 2 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
  • At least 2 years' experience in SQL*PLUS/PL/SQL/PRO*C (OPL);
  • At least 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
  • 1 year's experience in Oracle Application Development (ORA) is an advantage;
  • 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage;
  • 1 year's experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage;
  • 1 year's experience in UNIX (UNX) is an advantage;
  • 1 year's experience in XML (XML) is an advantage;
  • 1 year's experience in JavaServer Faces (JSF) (JSF) is an advantage;
  • 1 year's experience in Apache Web Server (AWS) is an advantage;

• Non-technical Skill:
  • At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV).
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
