Job summary

China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Safety Officer to conduct on-site safety inspections, identify hazards, and support corrective actions with clients.

You will assist in accident investigations, provide pre-work safety briefings, and help monitor HSEQ performance under the Safety Officer. The role is based in New Territories with full-time employment and requires relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Holder of Certificate in Safety and Health for Supervisors (Construction) (49 hours or above) or equivalent.
• 1 year post-qualification experience in construction.
• Possession of a valid Green Card.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular on-site safety inspections, observations, and audits with clients.
• Identify hazards and risks. Assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Help prepare accident and incident investigation reports.
• Conduct pre-work briefings and safety training to promote safe practices.
• Support the Safety Officer in monitoring HSEQ performance.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Safety Officer.
