Job summary

CPJobs International is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to HK regulations and company policies. You will develop and update compliance policies, prepare internal and external reports, and handle license applications while addressing regulator inquiries.

The role requires a degree in accounting, law or finance and 0–1 year of compliance experience. Fluency in English and Chinese, including Putonghua, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Finance or related field.
• 0–1 year of working experience in compliance or audit.
• Knowledge of HK regulatory requirements for securities brokerage and anti-money laundering preferable.
• Familiar with SFC/HKEx rules and regulations and compliance practices.
• Mature, self-motivated with positive attitude and performance focus.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all compliance functions to ensure the Company adheres to relevant legal and regulatory requirements;

• Develop and update compliance policies and procedures;

• Prepare internal and external compliance report;

• Prepare license applications and answer enquiries from regulators on compliance matters;

• Assist in ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting / Law / Finance or related disciplines;

• 0-1 year of working experience on compliance and audit function;

• Knowledgewith HK legal and regulatory requirements on securities brokerage and anti-money laundering is preferred;

• Knowledgein SFC / HKEx rules and regulations and their compliance / practice;

• Mature, self-motivated and equipped with positive attitude and passion for performance excellence;

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency of Putonghua.

• Candidate with more experience may be considered as Compliance Manager.
