Job summary

ING Bank's Asia internship programme in Hong Kong invites students to gain hands-on experience in Commodity, Food and Agri within Wholesale Banking. You'll support front-office teams, learn structured trade financing, and engage with colleagues across APAC.

This 6-month internship offers onboarding, cross-country networking, and business insight sessions designed to accelerate your learning, with exposure to risk, operations, and client interactions in a global financial institution.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3 / 4 or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to execute tasks efficiently.
• Resourceful and proactive mindset to learning and problem solving.
• Positive attitude in dealing with challenging and difficult situation.

Responsibilities

• Helps the front-office team in managing banking services for clients, including structured trade financing.
• Liaises with clients on deals to ensure risk limits and credit facility parameters are met.
• Collaborates with Middle Office, Risk, Operations and Financial Markets to ensure timely execution.
• Assists in credit reviews, due diligence, call reports, covenant monitoring, and reporting.
• Participates in ad-hoc projects, reporting and client meetings as needed.
