Job description
We're currently partnering with multiple enterprise clients to grow their Cloud and Platform teams across a range of engineering and leadership positions.
These opportunities span enterprise cloud transformation, platform engineering, cloud architecture, governance, DevSecOps and technical delivery, supporting secure, scalable and resilient cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud platform initiatives across AWS, Azure, GCP and Private Cloud
- Define cloud standards, governance frameworks and best practices
- Drive cloud adoption, modernization and transformation programmes
- Partner with infrastructure, security and application teams
- Manage cloud transformation projects and technical workstreams
- Oversee scope, budget, risks, dependencies and governance
- Coordinate stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams
- Support service transition and production rollout activities
Cloud Operations & FinOps
- Promote automation, Infrastructure-as-Code and DevSecOps practices
- Improve platform reliability, security and operational efficiency
- Drive cloud cost optimisation, forecasting and budgeting
- Monitor cloud usage and resource utilisation
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, platform engineering or technical project/programme delivery
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP and/or Private Cloud technologies
- Experience leading enterprise cloud transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, DevOps and cloud governance
- Understanding of cloud security, risk and compliance requirements
- Experience managing budgets, vendors and stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMP, Prince2, Agile or related certifications preferred
Candidates with less experience will be considered as cloud engineer.
