A leading consulting firm in Hong Kong is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer to convert existing Azure environments to Google Cloud Platform. You'll analyze architectures, execute migrations, and establish cost-effective infrastructures while ensuring regulatory compliance and performance improvements. Expertise in Azure and GCP is necessary, alongside skills in Terraform and Ansible. This role offers competitive compensation between 40K and 60K HKD.

Formación

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including core services.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects, preferably from Azure to GCP.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.

• Analyze existing Azure architecture and design a migration strategy to GCP.
• Plan and execute migration of applications, services, and data to GCP with minimal downtime.
• Design scalable, cost-effective infrastructure on GCP to match or improve Azure environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
• Optimize GCP resources for performance, cost, and scalability post-migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth migration.
• Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure service continuity.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like GCP Operations Suite.
• Document migration processes and train teams for effective post-migration management.

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including core services.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects, preferably from Azure to GCP.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect, or similar.
