Job summary

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Department of Surgery invites applications for Assistant Nurse(s)/Nurse(s). The appointee will support doctors during consultations and clinical administration, arrange appointments and investigations, and maintain up-to-date patient records.

Collaborative work across departments and participation in research projects are key aspects of the role. Applicants should be registered/enrolled nurses in Hong Kong with a valid Practising Certificate, strong English

Qualifications

• Registered/enrolled nurse in Hong Kong with valid Practising Certificate.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Putonghua) both written and spoken.
• Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including MS Office and Chinese word processing.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support doctors during medical consultations and clinical administration.
• Arrange appointments, investigations and operations.
• Handle insurance documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure patient care.
• Recruit patients and volunteers for research projects including clinical trials.
• Conduct and coordinate clinical trials and project management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
