Job summary

Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited is seeking a Clinical Officer to report to the Senior Sports Physiotherapist. The role supports examination procedures, treatment operations and rehabilitation processes; you will collaborate with Sports Physiotherapists to ensure effective care.

You will assist Chinese Medicine Practitioners, supervise the Recovery Centre facilities (sauna room, jacuzzi, hyperbaric chamber), handle administrative tasks in the Sports Medicine Centre and Clinic, and perform

Qualifications

• University degree in allied medical and/or sports therapy or equivalent.
• At least 2 years relevant working experience.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
• Able to work irregular hours and shifts.
• Strong teamwork and awareness of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in Hong Kong.

Assist the administrative work in Sports Medicine Centre and Sports Medicine Clinic's operation; and

Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff.

THE REQUIREMENTS

A university degree in allied medical and/or sports therapy, or relevant discipline, or its equivalent;

A minimum of 2 years relevant working experience preferably in relevant practical fields;

Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese is preferable;

Able to work irregular hours and perform shift duties;

Effective and efficient team player; and

Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong.
