Job summary

Enviro Labs Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Chemist Trainee / Assistant Chemist (5-day work) to conduct chemical tests on water, food and other samples, and to perform on-site sampling. The role includes developing and validating new test methods to meet customer and HOKLAS requirements, as well as sample registration, equipment calibration and lab maintenance.

Requirements include a science degree with chemistry courses, hands-on testing experience preferred, Cantonese and English

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Science subjects with Chemistry courses
• Hand-on experience in chemical testing of water and food samples preferred
• Candidates with more relevant experience would be considered as Assistant Chemist
• Good analytical, communication and organization skills
• Responsible, initiative, and good team player
• Good in Cantonese and English

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical tests on water, food, and other samples as assigned
• Conduct on-site testing and collection of environmental / food samples for testing purpose
• Develop and validate new test methods to comply with customer's and HOKLAS requirements
• Perform other laboratory duties such as sample registration, maintenance, and calibration
