ESF Explore in Hong Kong is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Hourly Assistant Caretakers to support cleaning and caretaker tasks for after-school activities, weekend programmes, and school holidays across ESF venues. The role is casual and as-needed, with applicants contacted only when vacancies rise.

Responsibilities include opening/closing premises, ensuring security, assisting with cleaning, setting up venues for events, and moving furniture safely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in school operations, caretaking, security, or handy work preferred.
• Basic handy skills and physical ability to perform tasks.
• Trustworthy and adherent to school security protocols.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the premises at designated times (key handling).
• Oversee and maintain security and order during after-school, weekend, and holiday programmes.
• Assist with daily cleaning duties and sanitise classrooms, toys, and common areas.
• Set up and break down venues for events (e.g., weekend camps, meetings, student activities).
• Safely move furniture, equipment, and teaching materials around the site.
• Report any property defects or safety hazards to the Site Manager immediately.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
• Experience in school operations, caretaking, security, or handy work preferred.
• Basic handy skills and physical ability to perform practical tasks.
