Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Hong Kong is seeking a Building Services Engineer / Assistant Building Services Engineer. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating subcontractors' work, prepare documentation for consultant approval, and supervise site records. Ideal applicants should have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5 years of experience with Main Contractors, and proficiency in BIM. Strong skills in MS Office and AutoCAD are also preferred. Strong command of English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher certificate holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 5 years' working experience with Main Contractor.
• Hands-on experience on BIM is an advantage.

About the job Building Services Engineer / Assistant Building Services Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager / Site Agent in monitoring /coordinating of all building services subcontractors' works, including their submissions and site installation works
• Prepare CSD and CBWD timely for consultant's approval to meet the site work progress
• Assist Site Agent in supervising and preparing site records and reports related to building services subcontractors' installation works
• Liaise and coordination with client, consultants, government department and utilities companies.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher certificate holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years' working experience with Main Contractor, and experience in Building Services Installations
• Previous experience in ArchSD project is preferred
• Hands-on experience on BIM (Building Information Modelling) is an advantage
• Proficient in PC skills including MS office, MS project & AutoCAD
• Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
