The University of Hong Kong's Clinical Trials Centre is seeking a Laboratory Technician (at the rank of Research Assistant II) to join the BioCore facility at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. The role will handle and process biospecimens for clinical trials and manage laboratory kits and consumables.

We welcome candidates with an associate or bachelor degree in Biological, Medical or Laboratory Sciences, who have experience in laboratory or clinical trial operations and good clinical practice

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biological, Medical or Laboratory Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience in laboratory operations or clinical trial operations; knowledge of Good Clinical Practice would be an advantage.
• Good laboratory skills and commitment to quality and compliance.
• Detail-minded, able to multi-task, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsabilités

• Handle and process biospecimens for clinical trials
• Undertake pre-trial preparation, including laboratory kits and consumables management
• Perform biospecimens processing, storage, packaging and shipping
• Manage records and conduct quality control
• Communicate with research teams and internal/external collaborators
• Perform other duties as assigned; work outside normal business days or hours may be required occasionally.
