Job summary

The Community Chest Of Hong Kong is seeking an experienced English and Chinese copywriter to support the Chest’s corporate and marketing materials, including press releases, speeches and newsletters. Responsibilities include managing public and media enquiries, providing timely responses, and delivering communications and logistical support for major events such as the Annual Awards Ceremony and AGM.

The role requires strong bilingual writing and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, publications, event and digital marketing, or related fields.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive and a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Undertake English and Chinese copywriting for the Chest’s corporate and marketing materials, including press releases, speeches, newsletters, social media posts, and other publicity materials;
• Manage public and media enquiries or complaints, and provide timely and appropriate responses;
• Provide communications and logistical support for major corporate events, including the Annual Awards Ceremony and Annual General Meeting;
• Assist in the planning and implementation of school visits, including liaison, presentation support, and follow-up work;
• Support fundraising campaigns in preparing publicity materials;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
