Job summary

Americas Platform in Hong Kong seeks an experienced internal audit professional to lead audits across Asia Pacific and beyond. You will cover strategy, governance, organization, profitability, front-to-back processes, compliance, HR and internal controls.

The role requires 6+ years in internal audit within Corporate/Investment banks, plus Front Office/Middle Office/Risk experience; strong English, excellent communication, and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Master's or postmaster degree in Economics, Finance, or banking; MBA/CFA/FRM or audit qualifications a plus.
• At least 6 years of internal audit experience in corporate and investment banking.
• Experience in Front Office, Middle Office, Risk or Control functions is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communications; ability to interact with challenging stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit missions of designated departments/branches in Asia Pacific Middle East (APME).
• Full-scope audits of business lines covering: strategy, governance, organization, profitability, front-to-back processes, compliance, HR, internal controls.
• Risk/Compliance/Regulatory audits and Support functions audits.
• Design and execute tailor-made audit testing programs to identify and assess risks and weaknesses.
• Issue and prioritize value-added recommendations to enhance risk management.
• Write high-quality audit reports and present issues to senior management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations.
• Take initiative and participate in continuous enhancement of the internal audit department.
