Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Finance professional to oversee financial and regulatory reporting for DBS HK entities, covering HKMA, SFC and SG MAS submissions. You will supervise a team to ensure accurate head office reporting and regulatory returns, and assess regulatory treatments for new products.

You will drive process improvements, contribute to Gen-AI initiatives, and collaborate with departments to implement new accounting standards within tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional qualification.
• At least 6 years in financial institutions or Big 4 with managerial exp.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and regulatory reporting.
• Gen-AI initiatives experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented with governance and control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DBS HK entities financial and regulatory reporting to HKMA, SFC and SG MAS.
• Prepare financial statements per local accounting standards and HKMA disclosure requirements.
• Lead a team to ensure timely head office reporting and regulatory returns.
• Assess accounting and regulatory treatments for current/new products.
• Coordinate with departments to implement new accounting standards and regulatory changes.
• Represent Finance in cross-bank system implementations and process changes.
• Drive process streamlining and Gen-AI initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.
• Manage internal and external audits and regulatory requests.
