Job summary

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer in Hong Kong is seeking Corporate Crime and Investigations Associates to join a leading disputes and investigations team. You will work alongside top white-collar and regulatory lawyers on multi-jurisdictional matters.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years PQE in disputes, an excellent academic record, and a strong interest in investigations and compliance. Chinese language ability is a plus; this is a full-time, permanent role in Hong Kong.

The Opportunity

With one of the largest and most skilled global corporate crime and investigations practices, our world class team spans over 25 countries, bringing outstanding results for clients drawing on market leading legal skills, commercial savvy, local knowledge and insights into the relevant regulators and law enforcement bodies.

We are looking for Corporate Crime and Investigations Associates to be based in our Hong Kong office. You will work as a core member alongside one of the Asian market's leading white collar and regulatory lawyers.

The successful candidate will be involved in work on multi-jurisdictional corruption, money laundering, regulatory, fraud and accounting investigations, as well as corporate governance and sanctions issues involving multinational and major regional corporates.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 2-3 years' post qualification experience within a Disputes Practice.
• An excellent academic record
• Keen interest in focusing on investigations and compliance projects
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Self-motivation, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to challenge yourself
• Chinese language skills will be an advantage
