About the Role

Due to the continued growth of our Buildings + Places business in our SEA office, we are seeking experienced Associate / Associate Director level professionals across Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) disciplines.

This is an exciting opportunity for high‑calibre professionals who are interested in working in SEA and contributing to the delivery of major building and infrastructure projects.

Successful candidates will work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) engineering services for complex building projects.
  • Manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and concept design through detailed design and construction support.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers within the team.
  • Prepare and review design reports, technical specifications, tender documentation and engineering calculations.
  • Oversee project quality, programme, commercial performance and technical compliance.
  • Support business development activities, client relationship management and project pursuits where required.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards and AECOM quality procedures.

Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Chartered Engineer (or equivalent professional qualification) is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading the design and delivery of large‑scale building engineering projects.
  • Associate level candidates should demonstrate strong project leadership capabilities.
  • Associate Director candidates should possess experience in team management, client engagement and business development.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
  • Work location in Singapore or other South‑East Asian cities.
  • BIM knowledge and digital engineering experience will be an advantage.
