Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (Hong Kong) is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Cybersecurity to lead security assessments, policy development, and incident management within the Security & Architecture Group. The role requires strong risk-focused cybersecurity expertise in a banking environment.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in IT security, HKMA familiarity, and professional certifications (CISA/CISM/CISSP).

Qualifications

• Degree holder in IT, Cybersecurity or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years' experience in IT industry, preferably with 5 years' experience in cybersecurity and risk management
• Experience in supporting security assessment and security systems implementation
• Banking industry experience and familiar with HKMA requirements are preferable
• Holder of CISA / CISM / CISSP or other HKMA ECF-C recognized certificate is preferred
• Able to work independently with good communication and analytical skills
• Fluency in English and Cantonese. Knowledge in Mandarin would be a plus
