About the role Your new company is looking for an Assistant Product Development Manager (Insurance Industry) to join its Product Development team. In this role, you will support the development and management of insurance products and collaborate with experienced product management professionals. You will play an important part in launching new insurance solutions, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with business objectives.
Assist in the conception, development and launch of new insurance products and services
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy
Support the preparation of product documentation, including specifications, requirements and business cases
Liaise with cross-functional teams including underwriting, sales, marketing and operations to ensure successful product delivery
Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to inform product enhancements and iterations
Maintain detailed records and documentation of the product development process and outcomes
Support the creation of marketing and promotional materials for new and existing products
Contribute to the development of product roadmaps and strategic initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance or a related discipline
3-5 years of experience in product development, product management or related roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
Strong understanding of insurance products and the broader insurance market landscape
Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with project management tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is desirable
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across different departments
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management abilities
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
