Job summary

CLSA seeks an experienced Operations professional in Hong Kong to support multiple lines in trade confirmations governed by ISDA, GMRA, and GMSLA. You will manage affirmation processes, collateral handling, and cross-team collaboration to resolve discrepancies, while leading the Ops team in break investigations.

The role requires 4–9 years in securities operations, strong ISDA knowledge, and fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–9 years of experience in documentation and collateral operations within a global securities house.
• Strong knowledge of the ISDA confirmation framework and collateral management processes.
• Basic understanding of ISDA/GMRA/GMSLA products; familiarity with CSA/MCA agreements is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Proactive approach with ownership over tasks.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to multiple business lines in executing trade confirmations for ISDA/GMRA/GMSLA governed transactions.
• Manage the trade affirmation process via counterparties or third-party platforms.
• Participate in collateral processing across VM, Regulatory IM, and broker agreements.
• Coordinate with counterparties to resolve documentation and collateral discrepancies with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic portfolio reconciliations, including trade economics and valuation checks.
• Lead the Ops team in investigating breaks with relevant internal groups.
• Prepare and distribute management reports, including KRIs where applicable.
• Drive process improvements by adopting industry best practices.
• Participate in new product approval discussions and maintain SOPs/procedure manuals.

• Participate in collateral processing for VM, Regulatory IM, and broker agreements across various business lines.
• Liaise with counterparties to resolve day-to-day documentation and collateral discrepancies, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed.
• Conduct periodic portfolio reconciliations, including trade economics and valuation checks.
• Lead the Ops team in investigating breaks, collaborating closely with relevant internal teams.
• Prepare and distribute management reports, including KRIs where applicable.
• Drive process improvements by introducing industry best practices.

Requirements
