Job summary

cncbinternational in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Fund Administration Specialist to handle day-to-day operations, NAV production, and client reporting. You will work closely with custody and banking teams to ensure accurate processing and compliance with HKFRS/IFRS.

The role requires at least 5 years in fund administration or accounting, a degree in accounting/finance/economics, and CPA preferred. You will maintain SOPs, optimize workflows, and support regulatory requirements, including HK SFC

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of fund administration or accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of investment fund operations and securities markets.
• Familiarity with HK SFC regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day fund administration tasks including record keeping, reconciliation, trade processing, subscriptions/redemptions, NAV production.
• Coordinate with custody, Banking teams and external client contacts to ensure end-to-end processing.
• Collaborate with custody and Banking teams to resolve client issues and improve delivery.
• Maintain SOPs and operating procedures for fund administration and client product specs.
• Optimize workflows to enhance operating efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist in system and procedure setup for fund administration operations.
• Support Securities Services team with FA expertise in custody, fund admin, and related services.
• Perform other duties as delegated by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day fund administration operation tasks, including record keeping, reconciliation, trade processing, subscription/redemption processing, securities master and price processing, NAV production, client reporting, etc.
• Liaise with relevant parties; manage end-to-end processing procedures and closely work with custody team, Banking teams and external client contact
• Collaboration with custody team and Banking teams to resolve client issues, and to improve client experience with our delivery
• Maintain documentation on operating procedures and operating guideline related to fund administration, and on SOP related to client product specification and customized requirements
• Optimize workflow so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Assist in the system and procedure set up on fund administration operation process.
• Assist Securities Services Team to provide professional FA expertise in relation to custody, fund admin and other related services
• Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management

Requirements:

1. Education Qualification
   • Degree holder in Account, Economics, or Finance or related discipline.
2. Working Experiences
   • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in related areas in Fund Administration or Accounting
3. Professional Examination/ License:
   • CPA preferred
4. Business Knowledge
   • Complete and comprehensive knowledge of investment fund operations and securities market operations
   • Complete and comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles (HKFRS, IFRS, GAAP etc)
   • Be familiar with regulatory requirements (esp. HK SFC) of collective investment scheme/mutual fund/unit trust
   • Familiar with and the Bank's policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices, standards and applicable local and regional regulations to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
