Job summary

Veolia in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee weighbridge operations and manage traffic control for the POB area. You will design pump systems and facilities while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Oversee weighbridge operations and traffic control for the POB area
• Design and modify pump systems and vehicle wash plant facilities
• Manage engineering and overhaul contractors while ensuring H&S compliance and quality standards
• Provide preventive maintenance support and troubleshooting to reduce equipment downtime and maintain efficiency
• Investigate equipment failures to identify root causes and implement preventive solutions
• Conduct H&S inspections/audits, oversee infrastructure projects, supervise subcontractors, and manage testing/commissioning of new installations
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned by the management

Qualifications

• Degree holder in E&M / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Holder of Green Card, Driving license (1, 2)

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Engineering Work Experience in the overhaul and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineer/ Mechanical/ Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Driving Licence: Class I and II
