We are seeking an Assistant Distribution Manager or Distribution Executive to support the implementation of the company's commercial distribution strategy, ensuring the effective and profitable commercialization of products and services through agent and broking channels. The role is critical to establishing and maintaining key partnerships, driving sales growth, and optimizing distribution networks to expand market reach and enhance customer satisfaction.
You will be expected to:
Provide day-to-day operational support for the Consumer business to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Coordinate with internal stakeholders on multi-line new business opportunities and renewals, delivering timely and effective responses to producers.
Plan and manage events, incentive and premium programmes, and external communications to support business goals, enhance stakeholder engagement, and strengthen brand presence.
Monitor pipeline development and business performance against established targets and objectives.
Support intermediary relationship management activities to foster strong and productive business partnerships.
Ensure intermediaries operate in compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
Assist in the development and execution of wholesale business initiatives aimed at expanding distribution channels, increase market penetration, and drive revenue growth.
The right fit person will have/be:
Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
ANZIIF, CII, IIQE, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Eligible to obtain an Insurance Intermediary Licence issued by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority.
2-3 years' experience in intermediary management, with hands-on exposure to agency and broker distribution channels (fresh graduates or candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
Proven problem-solving ability with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
Creative and commercially minded, with a track record of identifying business development opportunities.
Self-motivated, independent, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English and Cantonese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Mandarin would be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
