Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking a Risk Manager for CDNA in Asia to provide primary risk coverage during Asian and European hours, focusing on clearing risk, margin, and stress testing. The role involves building risk monitoring capabilities and supporting regulatory inquiries.

The successful candidate will have 5–10+ years in clearinghouse risk with strong Python/SQL skills, plus formal quantitative education. This position offers hybrid/remote work within Asia and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of clearinghouse risk or related experience.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline; CFA/FRM an advantage.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives and cross-asset risk.
• Familiar with CFTC/NFA/SEC and DCO rules for clearinghouses.
• Proven ability to make decisive risk calls during off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary risk coverage during Asian and European hours.
• Oversee end-of-day settlement pricing and cross-asset data used for margin calculations.
• Monitor client onboarding risk and ongoing market, credit, and liquidity risk.
• Manage operational risk controls: guaranty fund, collateral, limits, and reporting.
• Calibrate stress testing and support default management drills.
• Design risk monitoring requirements and daily management packs.
• Respond to regulatory requests and audits from authorities.
• Drive clearing risk considerations in product design and cross-margining.
