Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Head of HR Control Management, Asia Pacific, to lead the regional control framework across critical employee and manager processes.

You will partner with senior HR leaders to embed scalable controls and deliver independent risk challenge with practical reductions through smarter processes. You will drive risk governance, oversee documentation and evidence for reviews, and champion control simplification and automation to strengthen the organization’s risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operational risk, controls, control management, audit, or a related risk discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience within banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders on risk decisions and control outcomes.
• Experience leading risk governance routines (forums, updates, action tracking).
• Proven leadership of multi-region teams with outcomes across dimensions.
• Strong written and verbal communication translating complex topics into actions.
• Experience working with independent assurance and compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen the Asia Pacific HR control framework across end-to-end processes.
• Partner with senior HR stakeholders to identify risks and advise on sustainable control design.
• Act as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on governance decisions and remediation trade-offs.
• Drive continuous risk assessment and support product transformation with strong controls.
• Coordinate risk profiles, issues, remediation progress, and alignment with risk assessment activities.
• Lead regional governance forums, including agenda setting, materials, and follow-up actions.
• Embed control-by-design in new initiatives and drive simplification and automation.
