Job summary

Old Mission is a global proprietary trading firm that uses advanced technology and research to identify trading opportunities across asset classes worldwide. We are recruiting a Fundamental Research Analyst to join our APAC office, responsible for economic, event-driven, and company-specific research to inform trading decisions.

You will collaborate with traders to develop tools, analyze market data, and test strategies, staying up to date with breaking market events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of relevant research experience.
• Strong interest in financial markets and pattern recognition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters; Python bonus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze market events impacting securities and options.
• Support traders with quantitative and macroeconomic research.
• Analyze datasets to assess price impact on securities.
• Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis for trading decisions.
• Collaborate with traders to develop tools and test strategies.
