Job summary

Neo Derm Group Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong, is a leading medical aesthetic enterprise with multiple centres and stores across Hong Kong and China. The IT team is expanding to support the group’s digital platforms, Gratus, and BI dashboards.

You will design, develop and support e-commerce sites and related digital services using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies. The role requires 1+ year of full-stack development, front-end and back-end skills, and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of full-stack development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript with CSS and Bootstrap.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js or React.js.
• Experience in backend development using Node.js, Nest.js or .Net Core.
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL/MS SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka/Flink is advantageous.
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system design, coding, testing and maintenance of e-commerce websites and digital platforms.
• Design and implement system and application infrastructure.
• Provide application support and troubleshoot for ongoing enhancements.

With the trend towards Industrial Revolution 4.0, our IT department, the strategic technology enabler has established a comprehensive personalized customer-centric platform (Gratus) and operation management system, i.e., Customer Behavioral Tracking System, Recommendation Engine, Business Intelligence Dashboard, and Campaign Monitoring System, to support the fast-changing business transformation needs across the Group.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system design, coding, testing, and maintenance of e-Commerce website & various digital platforms.
• Design and implement system & application infrastructure.
• Provide application support and technical trouble-shooting for system enhancement and maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of full-stack application development on JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS & Bootstrap.
• Experience in front-end and UI technologies such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js or React.js.
• Experience in backend development using Node.js, Nest.js or .Net Core.
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL / MS SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Knowledge of Data Streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink or Rising Wave would be an advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, and proactive.
