Job summary

Prudential is seeking an experienced actuary to join the Financial Reporting and Management Team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on embedded value (EV) reporting, forecasting, and collaboration with regional teams to support management, investors, and regulators.

You will lead a team, review methods, and guide junior staff while maintaining strict reporting timelines and high data quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in Actuarial.
• Graduates from Actuarial Science, Mathematics and/or Investment related background is preferred.
• Good progress in Actuarial Examinations; fellowship qualification is preferred.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge in embedded value valuation, insurance accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge in Prophet and/or stochastic modelling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Managing the team to timely delivery financial results for EV reporting.
• Business Plan & Forecasting: Leading junior member to perform forecast of various financial KPIs.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with local and regional teams for external disclosure.
• Cross Function Support: Collaborate with internal parties on initiatives and product valuation.
• Team Management: Supervise junior members and coach on technical knowledge and soft skills.
