Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a university student to support and analyze actuarial assignments, assisting in data preparation, reporting and modelling across projects.

You will compile data, prepare reports, review actuarial trends, assist in financial reporting for management, and contribute to projection models and risk evaluation tools. Strong mathematics, analytical mindset and English communication are essential; knowledge of Prophet or VBA is a bonus.

Qualifications

• University students major in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, Finance, or Information Technology with strong mathematics background
• Strong analytical and social skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Prophet or VBA is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Compile and verify data, prepare reports and modeling work
• Assist in reviewing actuarial trends and rating considerations
• Assist in providing financial information for management reports
• Assist in actuarial projects, including projection models and experience studies
• Assist in design and improvement of systems to evaluate risk and monitor performance
