Job summary

SPL Lighting (Hong Kong) Company Limited is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment in Hong Kong. Responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, AP/AR processing, preparing invoices and receipts, and assisting with stock-taking and audits.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting, is self-motivated and detail-oriented, and can communicate fluently in English and Chinese. Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented and a good team player.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing.
• Immediate availability / Short notice is preferred.
• Knowledge of Accounting software will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, AP/AR processing, and expense claims.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements, management reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and handle invoices and receipts.
• Assist in stock-taking, annual audits, and cash flow forecasting.
• Handle Ad hoc assignments as required

Job description
