Job summary

China Mobile（Hong Kong）Innovation Research Institute is seeking a research-focused professional to advance 6G technologies in cloud, virtualization, and core networks. The role emphasizes system design, prototyping, and participation in standardization activities.

You will work on 6G physical layer algorithms, RF front-end hardware concepts, and validation of experimental networks, communicating in English and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge and research experience in wireless and core network communications.
• Familiarity with 4G/5G wireless and core network protocols.
• Experience with CPU/FPGA development and hardware/software languages.
• Excellent English communication, reading, writing, and listening.
• Experience with standardization bodies or project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and design research on cloud-based and virtualized technologies for 6G.
• Design and develop physical layer functions and algorithms for 6G prototype base stations.
• Develop 6G RF front-end prototypes and key hardware technologies.
• Design and research the architecture of the 6G core network and transport network.
• Plan, design, and perform testing and validation for the 6G experimental network.
• Conduct research related to 6G standardization.
• Complete other tasks assigned by leadership.
