Our Market Operations SCM team is responsible for supply chain processes and systems design & deployment, flawless product launches, global logistics and broader business execution, including working capital management. Our supplier quality team works with site quality engineering staff to set and monitor consistent supplier quality performance KPI’s, address supplier performance issues, and drive ongoing quality performance improvement.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager - JDM (Joint Design and Manufacturing) to join our global team to lead our strategic sourcing, supplier selection & development, commodity engineering, component engineering and materials cost-reduction initiatives in support of our Connectivity and Cloud Solutions (CCS) segment.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in both customer management, and design for supply chain initiatives. The incumbent will lead the efforts of multiple support organizations, globally, to ensure a successful engagement with Celestica’s product design customers.

Detailed Description

Strategy Supply Chain Manager, this is a customer-facing role and will require directengagement and leadership to drive supply chain initiatives and process optimizationefforts by closely working with customer, manufacturing site support team and crossfunctional teams, These will include planning and demand alignment, material supply,inventory optimization, supply continuity and flexibility improvement initiatives andcustomer engagement to provide updates/request support and supply chain relatedchallenges. The role is open to support business growth.

• Support product qualification and product ramp up.
• Demand planning and inventory control.
• Lead the supply chain management process for customers from BOM analysis,material readiness & clear to build, delivery execution and flexibility performance.
• Works with commodity management team and suppliers to optimize supply chain
  performance for Celestica products

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Frequent travelto relatedsites is required (up to 25%)
