Job summary
A leading contractor in the water sector is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join their team in East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising electrical installations and relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 and ECS Gold Card. This role offers a competitive rate of up to £400 per day for a duration of 6 months with potential for extension.

- Proven experience supervising electrical installations on capital projects.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification required.
- Previous experience in the water industry is essential.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with supply chain to support project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Provide hands-on support to contractors within the electrical discipline.

Job Title: Electrical Site Supervisor - Water Sector
Location: East Sussex
Rate: Up to £400 per day (Umbrella CIS + Mileage)
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Are you an Electrical Supervisor with water experience? Can you see yourself working with a leading contractor on the Southern Water framework? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with a strong background in the water sector to join the team in East Sussex.
- Liaise with the supply chain to support project delivery and commissioning.
- Apply sound technical judgement throughout the construction phase.
- Provide hands‑on support to contractors within the electrical discipline.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards across all works.
- Coordinate with internal teams, client representatives, and supply chain partners to achieve project objectives.
- Organise and manage shut‑down methodologies in alignment with project plans.
- Support the application and monitoring of Business Assurance System (BAS) policies and procedures.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Fully qualified electrician.
- ECS (JIB) Gold Card holder.
- Proven experience supervising electrical installations on capital projects.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Previous experience in the water industry.
