Skills
Education
Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – Central Belt – to £52k. Paid door to door. 40 hour week, with typically 10 hours a week of overtime available, 1 in 4 call out with £235 standby allowance. 26 days holiday.
This role involves service, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems across sites such as:
- Low temperature food distribution centres
- Chill temperature distribution stores
- In line freezing plant for the food industry
- Air blast freezing plant
- Large water chilling plant for the dairy industry
- Ice production plants for chemical process
- Process cooling plant for the chemical industry
- Horizontal and vertical plate freezing
- Abattoir plants
- Pumped ammonia with hot gas defrost
- Low pressure receiver systems with reverse cycle defrost
You will have
- Valid FGas certification and Ammonia Safe Handling training.
- City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- Strong fault-finding skills on both mechanical and electrical systems.
