Job summary
A vehicle modification service provider in Loughborough is seeking an experienced MET Technician for a contract position outside IR35. The role involves stripping and refitting vehicle components, removing Motability attachments, and restoring vehicles to their original condition. Candidates should have proven experience, a good understanding of vehicle systems, and the right to work in the UK. Immediate start available.

Job Title: MET Technician (Contract Outside IR35)
Location: Loughborough
Rate: £19 per hour
We’re looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our client on a contract basis (outside IR35) in Loughborough. You’ll be working on vehicles previously fitted with Motability attachments, removing these adaptations and restoring the cars to their original factory condition.
- Strip and refit vehicle components to a high standard
- Remove Motability and mobility-related attachments safely and efficiently
- Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
- Restore vehicles to their original pre-modified condition
- Work closely with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or similar
- Good understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Own tools and transport preferred
- Right to work in the UK
- Outside IR35
- £19 per hour
- Immediate start available
