Overview

Customer Team Member Location: Dewhurst Terrace, Sunniside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE16 5LP
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (5.45am), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!). You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers.   • Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
  • Make sure the store safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events!
