Hands on management of the facilities, infrastructure and assets of the WDSL business through effective employment of your own skills and a network of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure highest levels of availability are achievable in a safe, cost effective and world class manner. Work in accordance with WDSL's goals and targets, and legislative/ statutory requirements and coordinates activities to meet objectives set for the area of responsibility.

• Responsible for helping to improve and maintain the availability of all CNC and Manual machinery, plant and infrastructure at all WDSL facilities through a programme of Preventative Maintenance.
• To implement current HSE legislation including certification, monitoring and inspection in areas of responsibility.
• To assist in the maintenance of the building security of all WDSL facilities.
• To ensure the availability of facilities, equipment and machinery to maximise productivity of the business.
• To be actively be involved with the delivery of projects relating to facilities to schedule, cost and agreed requirements.
• Proactively be involved in the safe and effective day to day maintenance activities at all Wartsila Defence facilities.
• Be responsible for the availability of all machinery, plant and infrastructure at all Wartsila Defence facilities through a programme of Preventative Maintenance.

• Minimum 7 - 10 years' experience in a maintenance / facilities management environment.
• Experienced in preventative (and reactive) maintenance of manual and CNC machining centres is essential.
• Hands on experience of Hydraulics / Pneumatics / Electrics / Mechanical is advantageous.
• Proven experience of working within large and complex projects.
• Proven teamwork and lone working experience.
• PC Literate (Microsoft) and Complex Maintenance Programmes. SAP experience is desirable.
