- Day to day management of the purchasing team (Team of 3)
- Implementation of a category management approach
- Manage the creation of material master data in SAP for spare parts
- Source non-stock engineering parts
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the key internal and external stakeholders
- Manage consignment stocks ensuring all settlements are carried out on a monthly cycle
- Ensure the SAP physical inventory checks are carried out daily
- MCIPS or working towards
- Heavy manufacturing industry experience
- MRP knowledge and experience
- Strong purchasing experience - 3+ years in a Purchasing Management position
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders
- SAP knowledge / qualification - desirable
- Experience managing teams / people management experience
